It takes grit to be able to take rejection.
It takes grit to have the kind of mindset that actors who go on an audition but don't get picked for the role and say, "I didn't look the right part" or "I wasn't the right age."
There's power in how we tend to handle rejection and interpreting what "No" means.
Even in my business where let's say 99% of the people will say no, seeing those 1% make their lives better plays a huge role in how I continue helping women in the Menopause Movement.
When we have a dream or a desire that we want to get, it's important that we take the next easiest step that is impossible to fail so we don't give up.
Then we elevate ourselves.
We talk about that in today's episode with Victoria Wieck who has built a multi-million dollar business with over $500 million in retail sales. She started her own company in 1989 on a shoestring budget to spend more time with her family and has founded several other successful businesses since then.
She's worked with a wide variety of retailers worldwide ranging from major department stores to duty-free stores, as well as Internet and TV retailers. For the past 23 years, Victoria has been sharing her jewelry designs with millions of viewers during her own monthly shows.
