TMM PODCAST EPISODE 120: The Gut-Skin Connection

The father of medicine, Hippocrates said, "Let food be thy medicine."

We've been talking about the MENO-Mate way of eating in the Menopause Movement to help women ease their symptoms through diet, and I say this to the women who come through our programs: Inflammation really starts with our food.

But two things you can do right now to decrease your inflammation are cutting out seed oils and sugar.

We're delving more into that and why our gut health has an important connection to skincare with Jennifer Fugo MS, LDN, CNS who is a clinical nutritionist empowering adults who've been failed by conventional medicine to beat chronic skin and unending gut challenges.

She holds a master's degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and is a licensed dietician, nutritionist, and certified nutrition specialist. Her work has been featured on Dr. Oz, Yahoo, CNN and many podcasts and summits.

During the podcast we go over symptoms as a clue to nutritional deficiency AND:

● The experience that led to Skinterrupt, the skincare line
● Gut function, microbiome, and bowel health
● Rosacea
● Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth or SIBO
● The uses and dangers of coconut oil.
● Inflammation as the root of many issues

And stay to the end to find out one thing you can do to improve your skin right now.

Tune in today to learn more about gut health, skincare, and improving your important relationship with yourself.
